What is wilderness? What is adventure? To me, they need not be in a specific place, exotic, distant and unattainable. Open your eyes and you will find wild places right outside your back door. Open your mind and you can experience adventures, big and small, without having to leave your own local area. Of course, bigger adventures can be even better, and on this site I hope you will find inspiration both from hearing of travels around the world, and from those right on our own doorsteps.
